Jessica Simpson Back With Another Reality Show

She is back, but for how long ? Hopefully this will be better than her last reality show. The new show is called, The Price of Beauty on Vh1, that premieres Monday, March 15, 2010, at 10PM. This is a show to express what is beautiful in other countries. Jessica Simpson and cast will travel to countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Their mission is to experience the culture and show the viewers different types of beauty. The concept of the show seems interesting, but I wonder if the star of the show can keep the audience entertained. There are some who like her, there are some indifferent to her, and there are some that dislike her. I will be waiting for the show to began to see if Jessica Simpson is able to redeem herself from the once self-absorbed and pampered pop star wife on newlyweds and really help people with her message of beauty.

The viewers are suppose to witness a changed Jessica Simpson, a person who is no longer the person that she was 4 years ago. Maybe the time has changed her. It has been a 4 year break from her first reality show and her marriage that abruptly ended, she has had many failed relationships with celebrity boyfriends, there also was the sad news of her dog eaten by a coyote, and the infamous picture where she was wearing mom jeans. Maybe Jessica Simpson is unlucky with her personal life and needs a second chance to prove the critics that she has changed. There is the possibility that these negative images of her past might become the only Jessica Simpson that people see. Will Jessica Simpson every be able to obtain her once pristine image of the All-American Girl? Or will today's Jessica Simpson be the only one that the viewers will remember?

As supporters and critics watch tentatively as Jessica Simpson's fails or succeed. I know where I will be at 10PM, I will be home watching the show and giving my opinion on the new Jessica versus the old Jessica and if the show is what it claims to be.

The following is a linked to an article that I read about the criticism of the show and of Jessica Simpson:
